Before I left my office for this session it started to rain. Being 15 miles away, I was praying that it would just stop the moment I arrived in a new part of town. The forecast was not in my favor. The day of our session was the beginning of the second snow of the season for Colorado.
As I drove up to our location it was still pouring. This was my view:
I was racking my brain for ideas, one of which included playing in the freezing rain, which thankfully we didn’t do because that would have been to much for the Auld’s little ones. After going back and forth between canceling and trying to find an indoor location we decided to try the Auld’s home. While most homes are limited in good photographic spaces I was thankful they had a few. The backgrounds aren’t my ideal location but I am very happy with the shots that we got in the midst of the rain and challenging lighting in their home.
Brother and sister! So cute, except for Abby did not like being squeezed by her Nathan.
I LOVE her blue eyes!!
This was too funny. Abby tried the sucker and really did not like how it tasted, but she kept putting it back her mouth, and every time making this face. haha
What kid doesn’t love jumping on the bed!! So thankful that the Auld’s just played the whole time! Love it!
P.S. The forecast was right it did rain then turn to snow. This was my view outside our bedroom window in the morning.
Sometimes we don’t get what we ask for but it always ends up working out even better than we thought. 🙂 Thanks Jesus!
