to remember your power
You’ve been told boudoir photography is about getting into less clothes and into shapes that you’ve only seen in magazines or other women.
What if boudoir photography in Portland, Oregon, was more about being witnessed and experiencing
the power,
the beauty,
the magnetism,
the astounding majesty
you know is inside of you?
But maybe you don’t know where to put your hands when a camera comes out, or you’re tired of making kissy faces and popping your hip to pose with your selfies.
You want something more.
You want to feel powerful.
Hello, love; I’m Lumalia, your Portland boudoir photographer, somatic movement guide, poet, author, artist, and I’m ready to create magic with you.
You are more than a set of shapes I can put you in;
you are a majestic goddess divine
just waiting for an invitation to be witnessed in how marvelous you genuinely are. I’ve been practicing this art of embodiment for fifteen years, and we’re just getting started with what we will do.
Celebrate yourself in a radical and unforgettable way
Remember you are the creator of your life
Experience the power of intuitive somatic movements tailored to your unique essence
Create lasting memories through authentic, empowering photographs
Play dress up like the Goddess you are
Heal the sisterhood and self-loathing wounds
I cannot wait to be your fairy godmother.
Experiences change us
However, repeated experiences create our lives, this is why I offer group women’s boudoir and self-love photography experiences.
Group? Yes.
When women gather together in safe places,
we create wild landscapes
within us that draw out remembrances that we once knew.
Society has women against each other because it’s where they know we lose our power and become easily manipulated. But when we come together,
we rise together.
It’s time we stop feeling like we are competing against each other and remember we’re here to celebrate each other radically.
With my years of experience as a group facilitator in movement classes and work as a photographer, I know you’ll fall in love with these boudoir photography experiences and meet your new best friends.
We will be take photos, yes, but we are using the power of tribalism and our biology, which uses the mirror neuron network, to experience magic quickly. Previously, this has been used to instill fear in groups of humans, but now, in this Portland boudoir photography experience,
we’ll be using our ancient connections to profoundly embody archetypes and feeling states.
PICTURE IT: gathering in a themed experience like the Forest Babes, in the secluded PNW forest with a group of women, dancing like forest fairy nymph.
You can call me Diane/Artimus because I’m here to go to battle for your power, and I already have, and
guess what darling, we win.
We win the battles of women fighting against women.
We win the battles against hating ourselves so others can control us.
We win the battles against shame because we know how MF powerful we are!
WE RIDE AT DAWN!

Raves
and it’s time you get to remember that every single day, not just during your Portland boudoir photography session.
Experiences change us. But repeated experiences create our lives.
My deepest desire is that you feel this in love with yourself and your body every damn day. No matter your weight, wrinkles, cellulite, pant size, hair growth, or any other ridiculous beauty standard our practical world has said we have to “be like” to be beautiful. Fuck that.
It’s time as women and femmes we say no more to comparison and set the standards for ourselves, for our daughters, our nieces, and all the women who come in contact with us.
When we shine, we all shine brighter together.
Just come and try it out for yourself.
Cannot wait to celebrate your magic. The world needs it and I’m honored to help you remember how ridiculously stunning you are.
Sincerely, your biggest fan
Lumalia
