Lumalia’s debut memoir, Blooming Upside Down, is out now!

Pruning Skills

You know that terrible but so true phrase of practice makes perfect? Well, it even applies to photography. So, lately I’ve been trying to take my camera out even when I don’t have people to photograph to just fine tune my skills.
Recently my yard has been my new subject. I keep telling myself I should get out and explore the wonderful areas around me here in Denver with my camera. But every time I get out to the mountains I just want to be, or actually have an adventure like rock climb. I am trying to get better about bring my camera places. I am so clumsy though,  I don’t want to break my nice gear while out adventuring. So most of the time I post instagram photos, which you can follow me at: searchingphoto

But here is my lovely yard…a project still in the making, but so thankful for!

These tulips didn’t grow together, but I LOVE watching them all bloom at different times.

This is a berry bush, I have NO idea what kinda of berry, but thanks to my brother-in-law who sampled it and said it wasn’t an edible kind, haha. I ADORE the colors that naturally happen with this shallow depth of field.

Hey, I’m Lumalia, the main voice behind Celebrate Again. I call myself a connection architect because I have a deep passion for guiding us all to fall back in love with life through states of beauty, but many of us are far from feeling at home in our own bodies, so we seek to find safety in others.

Yikes, that’s scary, I know; I did that for three decades, too, until I returned home to myself.

I’m so excited to share with you all I’ve learned and this beautiful journey back home to what makes you absolutely stunning just because you are alive today.
