When Mark suggested we try Castle Rock Canyon State park for their engagement photos I was so excited. Not many clients want to travel outside of the Denver area for photos, so when some do you can imagine how the adventurous side of me lights up! When I arrived to Castle Rock Canyon I grabbed a map and then realized that we were probably on different sides of the park since there is a north and south entrance. I got on the phone with Mark and they zipped on over to me. We thankfully were able to catch some beautiful cloudy evening lighting in this stunning area.
Molly hoped out of the car with a huge smile on her face, introduced herself and asked if she looked ok. She then asked Mark some style options because he was the “well dressed” one of them two. I affirmed her that she was beautiful and had nothing to worry about. I could definitely tell they were nervous about getting photos taken. (But I find this is true for about 80% of my clients.) We jumped right in and we did some things that helped them both relax. Soon they were both laughing and smiling genuinely.
I got to see in the short time together that Molly has the greatest respect for Mark, which is so rare to see it seems. While Mark adores his bride to be, attending to her needs and fixing her stray hairs. I just adore their admiration for each other.

Molly was the most excited for their “sporty” look, which fits all their passions and backgrounds in sports.
