Winter + Mountains + Wedding Anniversary Celebrations = awesomeness. I am so thankful Jenni & Kipp asked me to photograph them yet again! This time they are celebrating their one year anniversary! I adore that they decided to celebrate with photos because well you change so much in just a year, and so does your love together.

We decided to head up to Lost Gulch Overlook in Boulder, which is absolutely stunning! But…it is extremely windy! I do just have to say Jenni has the best wind blow hair, ever. 🙂 We actually began at the bottom of the mountain and followed the sunset up the hill. I’m so thankful it was above 30 that day and the beautiful sun was out.
These two are just an absolute joy to photograph. Having photographed them almost every year for the past three year has helped us have a great bond of trust which equals beautiful moments. Plus, discovering this epic location made it all the more fun…including the crazy wind! I’m so thankful they just rolled with it all.
This next one is a bit different. I normally am mindful of funky hair photos but I just kinda love that it is crazy but gorgeous. I think its a good reflection on life…sometimes things just don’t work out how we think they should, but God always has a more beautiful plan than we could ever imagine.
We finished the anniversary photo session catching the last bit of light and them swing dancing away. I am seriously jealous that these two sing dance together, and they are pretty dang good at it too, especially for having no music and not having done it in 6 months. 😉
This next photo was my attempt at trying something a little more on the artistic end and I’m loving how the mountain sun reflections so beautifully on these two.
