I am SOOO excited one of my best friends, Becca is getting married!! I honestly cannot say I know David super well, but from all that I’ve heard about him and how I’ve seen how he treats Becca I couldn’t ask for a better godly man for my sweet friend! I am so happy for them and cannot wait for their wedding!
Seeing Becca and David together is just so sweet. I honestly hadn’t had the chance to spend to much time with both of them together, mostly because Josh and I moved to Denver and David is becoming a pharmacist so you can imagine there hasn’t been much opportunity to hang out. But after this session with them I am even more excited to see how God will grow their relationship. I absolutely love how much David makes Becca laugh and smile, it just warms my heart…and brings a tear to my eye…which is hard to do haha (the tear part…haha…I’m not that cold guys…geez.) 😉

So for the first part of the session we set up a picnic with this old basket Becca had, and a mosquito net I stuffed in my suitcase to use just for this session. We found a perfect tree to hang the neat in but unfortunately it wasn’t in shade, which is one of the many photography nightmares. But I am glad that we were able to work around it all. 🙂

Before we started shooting though Becca’s grandma and mom came to get a photo of all their rings together. It was super sweet!

Becca and I had a long conversation about whether she wanted me as a bridesmaid or her photographer. We obviously decided I’d be her photographer. Even though I adored capturing them it is still a hard decision to live up to mostly because I wont be able to be there for all the bridesmaid stuff like picking out dresses and things like that. I have been a bridesmaid in a close friends wedding before and I was cross the whole time. I wanted to be in two places at once. But having experienced the other hand of being a bridesmaid we decided I could most bless her and David as her photographer. And come the wedding day I’ll be with her just as much if not more than the bridesmaids. So I’m ok with it and pretty sure she is too. 😉

Hey, I’m Lumalia, the main voice behind Celebrate Again. I call myself a connection architect because I have a deep passion for guiding us all to fall back in love with life through states of beauty, but many of us are far from feeling at home in our own bodies, so we seek to find safety in others.

Yikes, that’s scary, I know; I did that for three decades, too, until I returned home to myself.

I’m so excited to share with you all I’ve learned and this beautiful journey back home to what makes you absolutely stunning just because you are alive today.
