When I first hung out with these guys to talk about their wedding invitations I just felt like we clicked. I love when that happens. I feel like it helps me help them be more comfortable in front of the camera and helps the true sweet moments of their relationships shine.
Matt and Elyssa meet in a Young Life camp when they were younger and have been together for 5 years! They both are teachers. And they both are very silly together. As you’ll see in their photos they love to laugh.
Elyssa and Matt are both new to Denver. I actually got connect with them through our church, Park Church Denver. I am so excited for them and what God has clearly made evident in their lives. They both just got hired in Aurora Public Schools. And get this, the students that start in Elyssa’s class will then end up in Matt’s class. Isn’t that awesome!! God works in such good ways!
We began our session at these sweet murals just right under Speer. They were pretty great!
This one just makes my heart melt.
As I do a lot of posing research to help couples feel comfortable yet look beautiful I have been thinking a lot about how my husband and I interact and I feel like it’s given me some good ideas! For example this one.
But there are times during a session where I just notice the cute things the couple does…and for them they always stand together and hold hands like this…love it!
While taking the preview photo:
I noticed Elyssa’s feet were just so cute laid out like this:
The light reflecting off the North Platte River was so beautiful…Thank you Jesus for beautiful things.<3
Elyssa has such beautiful eyes..I was so fascinated with them…can you tell?
Matt did such a good job with the ring. Opal, so unique!
I’ve always wanted to do this shot and they both were wearing such cute shoes…so it was a must.
Now the silliness… haha
Ya…I don’t know what was happening here…haha
And a few last favorites…
I am so excited to photograph their wedding in October!
