Amber and Michael are transplants to Denver, like most of us here are, but they come seeking adventure and lots of it. Michael recently purposed while they were on a camping trip, which lead to them wanting to include s’mores and a picnic for their engagement photos.
It was a bit of a rough day for Amber, from Texas where the cloudy 50 degree weather would be all out winter where as in Denver, it’s a normal fall day. The forecast was a slight chance of rain and in parts of the city it was raining. We had to make a quick decision to shoot or post-pone but we decided to stick out. And I’m SO gald we did!
I am so thankful the Lord created this perfect weather for Amber and Michael. While I’m sure no one truly say it was perfect, but for capturing the beautiful backdrop of the fall weather on a mid-afternoon, it was perfect. The clouds were about to burst open pouring rain but God held the rain allowing us to take these lovely photos. Instead of dumping on us the clouds created a beautiful glow to illuminate these two adoring love birds. God is so good, even in the sweet simple things like weather.
Amber shared with me that she didn’t really want an expensive diamond ring, but Michael gave her a family ring, which to them means so much more. How special it is for guys to have these things! And how lovely is this ring!?
Ok, so you may be asking, “A bird’s nest, what’s the story?” Well, there really isn’t much other than Amber being in love with the perfect creation of this birds nest she found and has kept with her from their move from Texas. God made beautiful creators to make beautiful things, indeed. If you’re family and friend feel free to browse their whole session on my proofing site.
