Ok, so you now know about the AWESOME details Elyssa and Matt had at their wedding but it was definitely full of sweet wonderful moments too!
Matt and Elyssa are just so adorable together and I loved to watch as they truly show that with each other. They both are really fun and silly, but my favorite part was to hear how Matt calmed Elyssa down about the rain; which moved their ceremony from the grass to the reception area in the covered boat house. I know I would have been freaking out! But, Matt just gave Elyssa a calmness that it was all going to be ok. Such beautiful of the picture of a husband leading a wife. mmm. <3
Photo credit for this next one goes to my awesome second shooter for the day, Josh Gaines aka husbandzies. 😉 Wish I could convince him to do this full time with me.
When we went to take portraits it was just aboslutely beautiful outside. The rain had cleared and the sun came out. All the trees in Wash Park had begun to fall but not so much that the trees were bare. The colors of the fallen leafs accented with the green grass just went perfectly with all their wedding colors!
I was so thankful the bridal party was wearing boots because my silly ideas for party photos would have been miserable if they were in heals.
Father-in-law
There was so much fun dancing, which is always awesome to photograph!! I just loved that Elyssa and Matt requested the Jitterbug specifically to dance with Elyssa’s grandparents who provided so much for their wedding. So sweet!
We’d love to work with you as your Colorado elopement photographer and guide!
