Best Places to Elope in Oregon | Oregon Elopement Locations

Picking the best place to elope in Oregon you’ll explore on your wedding day is one of the largest elopement planning pieces. Oregon has a million incredible places to explore, but you want to pick a spot that lights you both up and can provide an experience that you’ll never forget. This is honestly one of the most exciting pieces of planning your day and it all boils down to what you and your partner value for your wedding day.

The best places to elope in Oregon are the ones that excite you, the ones that feel like you. So, let’s get a little ✨weird✨ for just a sec.

Close your eyes and think about the day where you are gazing into your partner’s eyes and promising to do life together.

  • What are you surrounded by?
  • Are you tucked into massive trees exchanging vows?
  • Are you running wild on a rocky beach while the foamy part of the waves collides with your bare feet?
  • Are you snuggled up deep in a vineyard with rows of grape leaves as your aisle?
  • Are you star gazing in the desert after soaking in a hot spring or gazing at a snow-capped mountain at sunrise?
  • Maybe you’re exchanging your vows with a gushing waterfall behind you knowing that the only person that can hear the sweet words you are saying is the one that they’re meant for.

The Oregon elopement locations you choose may also depend heavily on the vibe you’re wanting for your day, or activities that you see yourself participating in which is why we have them categorized by these types of locations.

You could argue that any place you get married is romantic, but what we’re talking about here are the best places to elope in Oregon that have that dramatic scenery, experiences that lean towards the more leisurely side, the elopement locations that encourage you to slow down and take it all in.

Exchange your vows deep in the rows of grape leaves. To end your evening, hire a private chef to cater a yummy dinner with wine pairings.

Here are some of our favorite wineries that should definitely be on your Oregon elopement locations radar:

  • Haakon Lenai: This is one of our all-time faves. A small boutique winery that specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Book a private tasting and take a walk through the vines.
  • De Ponte Cellars: Specializing in Burgundian-style wines, this gorgeous vineyard is a popular one! Gorgeous views and great wine.
  • Solkol Blosser: A winery focused on sustainable practices. This winery is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous vines and wine tastings that can be paired with small bites.

Best time of the year this Oregon elopement location: Mid-July through early September. This is when wineries are at at their peak. Reserve in advance if you can!
