One of the great joys of re-opening my business has been blogging about Colorado mountain elopements or weddings I photographed in the year that I closed my business. This Telluride Spring Mountain Colorado Elopement/ Intimate Wedding was (and still is) one of my favorite weddings. One, because its Telluride, Colorado, a breathtaking location, but also because these two are just complete sweethearts!
I love how they intimately care for each other and how beautifully that was portrayed on their wedding day. Even after a huge change in plans and while some of their guests dealt with the horrible predicament of altitude sickness, they were still in it together. (Yes, altitude sickness is a real thing guys, please please look into this as you plan your mountain Colorado wedding!)
But of course, though the morning and mountain wedding ceremony started out with a change of plans that included having the ceremony in the middle of the Telluride, Colorado town park instead of Bridal Vail Falls, the day ended with the most breathtaking sunset illuminating the San Sofia Mountains and giving you that breathtaking view only the San Juan mountain range holds at the top of Telluride ski resort.
The private dinner Paige and Chad enjoyed with their family was absolutely beautiful. Their simple yet elegant table-scape was so fitting for their down to earth intimate mountain wedding. I was so honored to be a part of their Colorado mountain wedding day that I still, even two years later, enjoy looking back at these photos, and I hope you do too.
