I like to save my favorites for last. 😉 If you missed the details from this wedding head on over to this post to check those out! The moments in this wedding were ever so sweet! Sadra was full of utter joy: laughter, smiling tears and all. This was such a beautiful picture of Christ’s love for the Church, when He freely and joyfully gave himself for us. This is what marriage is all about, a picture of that between two people, not just in love but joyfully entering into a bond and commitment to love each other unconditionally that nothing will break. I adore that I get to capture the beginning of these moments in life.
Here is their first look.
Sadra walking down the aisle. Their lovely outdoor ceremony, which turned out great considering it was very windy and about to thunderstorm! Oh my goodness, the pure bliss on their faces after getting married is amazing. After the official ceremony they went to the dock by the stone house and read their vows to each other. I gave them some distance and snapped a few of these sweet moments they shared. After they had their time we took a few more “formal” portraits. After we played in the field we went back to the house and had a little fun. 😉 haha love this one!Seconds before the sky opened its waterfalls we snapped these two at the side of the Lakewood Stone House. The outdoor lights illuminated them so beautifully!
I cannot praise God enough for His PERFECT timing for this wedding. A storm was rolling in so quickly but we had just enough time to finish their ceremony and spend a decent amount of time taking photos outside in the beautiful areas around the stone house. Not to mention how the storm clouds added some great lighting to the photos. He is so good to show His glory in my work!
Thank you to Sadra and Donovan for having me capture and be a part of this beautiful day for you two.
