Jessica and Ian are super cute together. My favorite photographs of them are the ones where they were just interacting. Just by watching them you can just tell they are truly taken with each other. And well Ian is just in love with his bride. So beautiful.
Even though the venue was beautiful with the gorgeous backdrop of the San Juan forest, I wanted to find a place little more intimate for pictures of just Ian and Jessica. I drove up the road a bit and found this gorgeous little woodland area. I felt a little like I was in another country. It was so beautiful.
After the ceremony we drove up to the little spot we found. Once we hopped out of the car and were walking towards the shaded area this random dog comes bouncing along. He thankfully was super friendly and not mean. But messy mountain dogs and white dresses don’t mix. This little pup made a bit of a mess on Jessica’s dress but thankfully Jessica is super laid back and didn’t freak out. The dog wouldn’t leave us alone and none of us are super big animal people so I asked Josh to go around the corner and distract him. I am so thankful Josh was able to because he kept getting in all the shots and just wanted to play with us.
Anyway, we finally got some dog free photos and the sun was shining through the trees to make for some soft back-lite photos.
