Hannah and Chris were married at the Chief Hosa Lodge just outside of Denver, Colorado. As a wedding photographer I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop than the gorgeous Front Range mountains. They both came all the way from Kansas to have this gorgeous back drop and well to have some of the cool mountain air over the humdity of Kansas. I am so glad they came here and asked me to be their photographer. It was such a blessing! Hannah made such a beautiful bride, and they had a beautiful mountain wedding!
Inside the actual lodge it is a bit like an old castle, very romantic and beautiful. It isn’t super well lit so that was a challenge for me, but hey it’s my job!
I had an awesome second shooter, Sky. He is just starting out but man he has some amazing raw talent! Our shooting styles are very similar so in editing I had to look back to see if I took that or he did haha. This below was all Sky though.
Hannah had such a beautiful dress from Amanda’s Bridal. Definitely had to get a full on shot of it!
The guys really didn’t like their pictures being taken, so we had do more organic shots. I am happy with how this one came out.
I told Hannah I wanted to get a shot of all their shoes and she was like “oh no we didn’t really plan our shoes out!” haha…but it is still a cute shot.
Well, if you give your groomsmen knives as a present they will use it against you. 😉
I loved the back of the bridesmaid dresses!! Pretty sure they were a Macy’s off the rack dress…good find Hannah!
They had a great idea for the guestbook for everyone to take a picture with a Polaroid, write their name on it, then pin it on the the string. It was super cute, also super cute for the rings! 😉
I just LOVE this shot sooo much! The contrast of the fancy shoes next to the grass, praise God for giving me that idea!
Lovely flowers by the Holly Berry. I got to meet the actual florist, she was super sweet. Loved the flowers. So if you’re getting married in Everegreen, CO and need a florist check her out!
Hannah’s parents cut each single log for all the center pieces and decor. Talk about some hard work for a beautiful wedding!!
I was so excited to find this little area right around the corner that was filled with gorgeous aspen trees and hidden in the shade. I just love mountain weddings!
There are so many sweet moments from this wedding, all of which are coming tomorrow!!
We’d love to work with you as your Colorado elopement photographer and guide!
