Laughter was the least lacking element from this wedding. I just love how expressive Sondra is, which is a great compliment to Jordan who is reserved. There were so many silly awesome moments during their wedding, and well, I, myself love to laugh and its always great to laugh while working, haha. I just love my job and am so thankful God has given it to me.
Ok, so the story behind this piggy back ride was not for a cute picture but because the car was VERY far away.
For portraits of Jordan and Sondra we decided on this spot by the bosque with the beautiful Sandia’s in the background. Well, upon arriving to said bosque entrance we came across the road closed sign. But wanting beautiful photos Jordan and Sondra said they’d be willing to give it a try. I honestly think they may have decided otherwise if they realized it was as far as it was, but praise God for their willingness to walk the good three quarters of a mile to the actual area in squelching 90 degree dessert sun! It was totally worth it but poor Sondra’s feet were killing her because, well, heals and sand don’t mix to well. So, on the way back Jordan offered to carry her a ways. Such a sweet serving husband, already!
Before the ceremony we took pictures in this drive way, but we had to do both the guys in girls in the same place. So the guys and girls blocked the bride and groom for see each other, it was super cute.
Jordan was actually blind folded before pictures so he won’t accidentally see Sondra. This was him in the middle of the street, where his grooman left him…Then a car came up behind him, but he couldn’t see which way to move. It’s pretty terrible but we left him standing there for a good while, laughing, before Carol, Sondra’s sister, rescued him. Thankfully the car didn’t do anything to crazy to our groom.
We decide to sneak up on Jordan while he was blind folded. Sondra got a kick out of it.
I feel like now days the charm and excitement of catching the bouquet is gone. I do love this photo because one girl got way into it! Next time all you single ladies go to a wedding you should get way more into it, I promise it wont hurt! 😉
