Vintage Engagement Photos | Destination Elopement Photographer

When I arrived to the Lakewood Heritage Center I was instantly in love with this place for photos. There was just so many great spots for good photos and with the leafs changing colors it was just perfect. I  think it is so amazing that yellow and blue are natural compliments and how in a photograph with the yellow leafs in the trees and the blue sky in the background it just looks so good! What a creative and beautiful God we have!
Kait and Joby are super cute together and both very beautiful people! I am so thankful they were so willing to do all the ideas I had and just truly had fun with it. They both have a great since of style too which completely complimented the area we were in. I honestly want Kait’s advice on my clothing choices haha, cause well I’m terrible with fashion.

I had so much fun with this session and just really playing around more with the vintage coloring and am so far in love with this style. 🙂

But first, those compliments I was telling you about, all in their true vibrancies.

Kait had posted a picture of a couple eating ice cream during their engagement session and I loved the idea  a lot but we didn’t want to have to go get ice cream. So, I had the idea of bubble gum, which Kait was having some trouble getting that big bubble, but man it was just so funny! For future reference the good ole sugary gum is the best for these kinds of photos. You know the kind that fills your entire mouth to chew…that stuff would have been better. But these turned out pretty cute anyway. 😉

Sometimes when I’m shooting I’ll just tell people to stay close and chat…I love when laughter naturally occurs. 😉
