I’m so proud of my associate mountain Denver, Colorado wedding photographer, Brittany, put on and planned her first stylized shoot with Searching for the Light Photography. Below are her inspirations behind the stylized photoshoot she did out at Paint Mines Colorado.

“After seeing another photographers images at the paint mines, I was amazed at the location. I couldn’t believe it was in Colorado. I dreamt of photographing there!

Such is life, I was a bit occupied with all the normal stuff to put too much thought into it. I knew if it was going to happen I needed to be held accountable! So, I told Emmy about my vision, which was literally a quick text that said something like “stylized shoot at this location with this couple”…with a link to my paint mines google search and a screen capture of Abbie & Colton on insta (sorry for being a creeper guys!)

Abbie & Colton are perfectly edgy & sweetly in love. It was so much fun photographing them, laughing at Colton’s unexpected trick he likes to play on Abbie in public and having them cuddle up in the crevasses of the indescribable formations. I loved the how much they were in awe of God’s creation. Creating portraits in a place that naturally creates wonder and awe is so inspiring.

I am continually amazed by the natural excitement that can occur when you place a couple in love into a place of beauty. The results never disappoint!

My goal in photographing Denver, Colorado mountain couples isn’t to just capture photos of them, but to help ignite the love that they have for each other.

After our shoot, Abbie sent me a message that confirmed our mission was accomplished, before she had even seen a photo!

‘We really had a BLAST with you. The whole ride home we talked about when we got engaged and married, and it was just so fun for us. Thank you so much for making this happen.’

I’m thrilled that they had a good time with me, but it fills my heart up that God would use me to encourage other people to connect with each other & as a byproduct, deepen their love for one another. ”

Thank you Brittany, Abbie and Colton for sharing your hearts and stories with us. I’m so honored to be behind the scenes editing these beautiful moments and memories Brittany captured. To find out more about working with Brittany visit her bio page!

Hey, I’m Lumalia, the main voice behind Celebrate Again. I call myself a connection architect because I have a deep passion for guiding us all to fall back in love with life through states of beauty, but many of us are far from feeling at home in our own bodies, so we seek to find safety in others.

Yikes, that’s scary, I know; I did that for three decades, too, until I returned home to myself.

I’m so excited to share with you all I’ve learned and this beautiful journey back home to what makes you absolutely stunning just because you are alive today.
