Anne & Jason’s wedding was so beautiful! It was totally a dream come true for me. Ever since moving to Denver, I’ve dreamt of photographing a winter wedding. So I was so excited when Anne and Jason booked with me earlier last year! The wedding was at the Silverthorne Pavilion in Silverthorne, CO, a perfect setting for their winter wedding. Anne and Jason had some very adorable ideas and decorations that were simple but so cute! Things like a hot chocolate and cookie bar for the cocktail hour, collecting all the families plates for the dinner plates to a old sledded as sign to the ceremony area.
All the details of their wedding day were just so fitting for their winter wedding themed wedding!
Here is the hot chocolate bar and cookies. (By the way were hand made, great way to save a little money on the cost of catering!)…Thanks to Mark, my second shooter for this one!
Oh man, chocolate chip cookies are my weakness…although, they make me soo sick. 🙁
They aslo had pop-corn at the cocktail tables. Love the jars and um, decorations! (haha I cannot recall what those plants are called! So I substituted decorations there.)
Here are the plates they used, such a creative idea!
Oh man, I adored the flowers for their wedding. They were just so unique for the flowers she wanted. I loved the twine and lace around the bouquets. Of, course I had to stick them in snow, what else would you do for a winter wedding! hehe
This is an awesome view of the inside of the Silverthorne Pavilion. Thanks to Mark for this great shot!
I’ve got to admit I’m a little jealous Anne pulled of the Tom’s. I so wanted to do this for my own wedding, but and to fight too much with others to actually do it. Love how here shoes still match Jason’s classy shoes.
The beautiful Anne! Her flowers just compliment her so well. (In case your wondering Anne got her flowers from: Veldkamps flowers
Also, had to grab one with her against the beautiful mountain backdrop!
To the left is the cute old sled I was telling you about. We pulled it out for a few fun photos outside, along with the red blanket Anne grabbed from Etsy.
Finally just a few photos of them too that I adore.
Thanks to Mark for this next one!
