Dawn and Brett were married on June 30th in Gallup, NM. They make such beautiful couple!
They both grew up in Gallup and are high school sweethearts. They got married at Brett’s home church in Gallup. I honestly found it a challenging wedding as a photographer just because we weren’t allowed to use flash during the ceremony and there weren’t a whole lot of pretty places to take pictures around. But I found one area in the entry way that was flooded with gorgeous sunlight and made for a good background for some pictures.
Dawn did such a great job with all the details of the wedding. It was very sweet and pretty for the space they were using. I totally loved the shoes she had her bridesmaids wearing!
One of the main decorations were this sparkled tree branches in glass. I totally dug it because I used it many times throughout the wedding…For instances for the ring shot. 🙂
Dawn’s dress was so adorable!! I loved all the tulle and the ball gown look…girl after my own heart. 🙂
These next two photos are why I include a second shooter in all my wedding packages, because they can get these awesome shots!
Brett and Dawn decided to do the first look, and we had a few extra minutes to snap this one.
The groomsmen were pretty silly. I was so excited they were down for this photo.
Stuffed in the car to go take pictures at the red rocks.
This was my desired background but the sun was straight on it so we had to angle everyone a bit…shooting in direct sunlight can be tricky…
Ok, so these guys are soccer players so this was a bit out of character for them, but it was such a cute idea I couldn’t resist.
Getting a little funky with the textures here.
