I cannot honestly say where most photographers stand on this point but I absolutely love it when couples have fun ideas for the portraits…although I do have to be honest sometimes and say well that may not turn out like you think, but with Laura and Fabian’s wedding they both had some fun ideas that worked out well!
I have just started to do this new thing where brides show me things they’ve pinned on Pinterest and I try my best to make those photos happen at their wedding. Most of the time we cannot get to all of them or they aren’t practical for the couples wedding but we were able to do a few. This photo being one of them. The original photo we tried to emulate was of bridesmaids and the bride laying on their tummies on the bed with their feet in the air…Well Laura’s beautiful dress did not let her bend well so we got a little creative. I love how this came out putting our own twist on it!
I’ve always wanted to do a photo like this one! I was so excited to find out when their room had a balcony!
This reminds me of a famous painting…can’t put my finger on it…but I love it.
So I just wanna say how proud I am of Andi, my second shooter and sister in law. She’s been working with me throughout the year helping me second shoot a lot of weddings. She is still learning a lot and I have given her some hard situations to work in, but she always comes up with amazing photos despite the conditions and equipment she’s working with. This wedding was the first wedding where we had to split up and she was in charge of taking all the guys photos. She was very timid about it and nervous but I trusted her ability and creativity. She is so much like my husband in the fact that they are always doubting themselves. Well, after looking through all the photos I have to say she did a wonderful job and got so creative with the shots. Here are just a few and well one of them I have no idea what was going on but it is pretty hilarious! Maybe one of the guys could fill us in.
So this the photo I am talkin about. Anybody care to explain….? haha
Being that Laura and Fabian are silly we of course had to do a silly kinda wedding party picture. 🙂
This photo was actually Fabian’s idea. It turned out pretty neat I think!
And of course another silly one. 😉
