Lindsey and Jacob’s wedding was simple and sweet. They got married at Hudson Gardens and Event Center in Littleton, CO. The Hudson Gardens couldn’t have been a better setting for a wedding. Even though all the flowers were dying from the crazy heat we’ve had this summer in CO the grass and trees were still vibrant as ever.
Lindsey had some lovely center pieces of mason jars with flowers and twine surround by candles. Which I made fun use of for the ring shot. 😉
She also made her own flowers, which turned out pretty lovely. These seems to be a trend starting! But ladies I gotta say here if you can afford a florist its totally worth it for the fact that ordering flowers normally means they will be sad, starting to brown by the time you get to the aisle. Something to keep in mind. 😉
Another fun tread I’m seeing this year is pies instead of cakes…haha its totally awesome. I wish I had grab a piece to taste to see if it was yummy. Thanks to the Denver Pie Truck for these guys. Looks yummy, right? Any guest try it? What’s your thoughts, were they delicious?!
Here is all of the ladies, in the lovely teal dresses. Such a pretty wedding color.
And the gentlemen, so excited I found this neat vantage point for them.
So, these guys didn’t know the “blue steal” face; BUT they did know the “hey I think you’re a cutie” look…haha. FYI to other guys…they said it never works. 😉 haha
Before the ceremony the guys made a toast together…made for a fun shot!
The lovely Lindsey before the wedding!
I know this looks kinda sad but its the artist in me that is very much loving the implied emotion of sweet bliss a bride has her wedding day.
So, I got to try out a few new ideas with the bridal party for this wedding. I just gotta say I am totally in love with this one…now not to over use it! If you haven’t noticed yet, I tend to like silly and very subtle humorous things…like this one.
Check back tomorrow for more photos! Don’t forget to leave a comment for Lindsey and Jacob to win $25!! 🙂
Happy new week!
We’d love to work with you as your Colorado elopement photographer and guide!
