Kate & Evan’s wedding has been one I’ve really been looking forward to shooting all year because I’ve been able to really get to know them between engagement session and the design work I’ve done for them. It was such a blessing being to be a part of their beautiful wedding day.
They got married at Nature Pointe in Tijeras, NM, which is actually a club house for the local neighborhoods. Once I was able to catch up with the girls in the dressing room I knew this would be a fun wedding because all the girls were just so silly and lively.
I was so excited that most of the girls got in on helping Kate get dressed because what bride doesn’t want this shot!
And well the guys weren’t without their silliness either, as you’ve may have already seen from the preview last week.
I just love this pose, its so fun!
Kate and Evan decided to do a first look which was super sweet as always, but definitely didn’t take away from the emotion behind Kate walking towards Evan during the ceremony. 😉
Nature Pointe is in the mountains, and I was thankful we were able to catch some of that background. 🙂
This photo….is one of those artistic ones that just leave me in love with my job more and more. Again one of those I can’t explain it but I just love it.
Ben snagged this awesome shot!
Posing these guys was somewhat challenging because of their height difference, but I was very glad with how their portraits came out. 🙂
We had about five minutes left for portraits and we could either do photos with more mountain backgrounds in the weeds or play on the swing set… I’m so thankful Kate choose the swing set because of this shot….mmmm <3!
I just love sunlight, praise God for it!
One of the things about Kate and Evan that just leaves me in (happy) tears is the way Evan looks at Kate. You know that look like she’s the only one in the room with a space full of people.
The slideshow they played was pretty hilarious…or at least that is what everyone’s face said. 😉
