I honestly wish I could have 2 hours every wedding to truly capture all the beautiful details the bride and groom have planned out. I feel like there is just so much creativity and personality that shines through the details the couple labors into their decor and clothing choices. But the reality is I usually have about 30 minutes or less to get it all. Thank God for second shooters in being able to multitask!
Kate and Evan had a lot of very neat details to their wedding day.
Kate’s dress was gorgeous! I found out through overhearing the bridesmaids talk that they actually had the buttons added on the back of the dress. Such a beautiful touch to a simple yet very elegant dress!
The colors for the wedding were yellow and blue. I think this has to be one of my favorite color choices…but close to that is the teal colors. 🙂 I loved her splash of something blue being her shoes.
It seems that having assigned tables was going out of style but I’m thankful its coming back because there are so many cute adorable ways to show table places. Kate had a very cute idea with these simple name cards with the table number in the top left corner. I love the mini clothespins they are on too!
Their wedding cake was super cute too. I feel like this style for making the cake’s icing look like a tree branch or wood is very “in” right now.
Such a simple but fun decoration idea. Vase with wine corks!
The table settings were simple, yet elegant with wildflowers in fun glass jars. I especially am fond of the floating flower.
I was so excited to see that the monogram I designed for Kate and Evan’s wedding invitation ended up on the beer koozies!
Kate also decorate the white chairs a little which totally added a little fun aspect to the outdoor decoration.
Kate’s flowers were beautiful. The florist (Sonrisa Blooms) did a wonderful job with incoorporating all the aspects Kate asked for in her flowers. It is so neat to see other vendors so passionate about their jobs like Diane was. She was just so excited to show Kate her flowers! I wish we were able to grab more photos of them but I’m thankful we were able to grab this one!
Incorporated into her flowers was a charm from her sister…so sweet.
The accent of the blue in Evan’s tie, Kate’s shoes, Evan’s belt buckle and his boots all came together so well!
Thank you Kate and Evan for letting me be apart of your beautiful day!
