If you’re like me and are not a big fan of cake, it’ll be no surprise when you have a hard time finding a wedding cake you like. Some of my favorite wedding idea tips are ones that include alternatives to a wedding cake, mostly because I’m a fat kid on the inside. haha. Seriously though, I have a terrible sweet tooth. Just ask anyone who’s known me for awhile. A batch of fresh cookies will probably last me two days, if those cookies are lucky haha. 😉
Again, I am so thankful that most of these are ideas from my brides in the past year who went a non-traditional route with the cake.
Wedding Ideas #7 Alternative Wedding Cake
If you’re gluten free you may want to try a rice crispy cake! Easy, cheap and delicious!
My personal alternative wedding cake are whoopie pies. These particular whoopie pies were made by Tee and Cakes and were SOO good…Even thinking about them from 4 months ago make my mouth water.
If you love Thanksgiving for the pies, then why not have them at your wedding too!
Finally, if you like cupcakes or cake pops but not regular cake, why not have them! Have a baker stack the cake pops to look like one giant cake and Bam you got yourself an alternative wedding cake! 🙂
