Toasts: Do We Have an Open Mic?

You’re planning your wedding reception and thinking about how is going to talk during the toasts. While most DJs will talk to you about this but it seems more and more people are skipping the DJ and opting for a band.

In the small chance you aren’t having a DJ I highly encourage having the rehearsal dinner be the night for open mic speeches and the reception just be for maid of honors, best men and maybe a parent or two. Limiting toasts will help the flow of your wedding go more quickly but also you won’t get any unwanted roasts. 😉 Also, if you’re on a schedule for your reception this will help your timeline be a little more predictable. 🙂
