Mount Princeton is a hidden gem mountain wedding venue in Colorado. Jessica and Geoff couldn’t have picked a more perfect wedding venue to fit their adventurous mountain-loving hearts. Their day was full of amazing sunshine, gorgeous views, beautiful decor, amazing music by Woodshed Red, full laughter speeches and lots of crazy dancing!
I am loving this new trend with my clients of exchanging gifts instead of a first look. It is such a sweet connection to have with your groom or bride before the wedding. My second shooter was with Geoff but I had the joy of being with Jessica as she opened the sweet note, hand picked flowers and necklace made with stone from a 14er that I believe Geoff purposed to her on? (I could be wrong about the details of that one…) Either way it was such a sweet gift!
Jessica & Geoff’s first date included both of their furry children so it was so fitting that they were a part of their wedding day. I also loved how Jade, Jessica’s dog was so sad to leave all the girls and have to go hang with all the boys.
Jessica made such a stunning bride and I mean what a more fitting back drop for her?!
Besides Telluride, Mount Princeton is becoming one of my favorite venues because this is the ceremony site. I love this mountain wedding venue because it has all of my favorite elements, mountains, fields, lush grass and a river. God makes such beautiful thing does he not?
There were way too many cute little people at their wedding. My favorite was the sweet ring bearer who was waving the whole way down the aisle at Geoff.
Their ceremony was simply sweet and I loved that they had their vows written in these cute little books to be able to keep forever.
Some of my favorite moments of any wedding is the bride and groom right after their first kiss. <3
After all the formal portraits we went down by the river right behind the ceremony and I was BEYOND thrilled that the light was still linger around and the bugs hanging around created some gorgeous accents to their photos. Who ever would thought I of all people would be thankful for bugs.
Then to top the icing off Jessica and Geoff were game for my idea to go for a little dip. 😀
We ended their photo time up the hill to at this gorgeous area we had scouted out earlier in the day. A photographer could only dream of having so many amazing locations for just one wedding. God is SO good!
Their reception was aboslutely perfect with sweet embraces, hilarious speeches, great music and lots of crazy dancing!
Thank you Jessica & Geoff for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. It was such a joy to come celebrate with you guys, here the sweet stories of your lives together and capture your love on camera!
