I feel like it was forever ago that I took these two’s pumpkin fall corn field field barn engagement photos! But man has it been fun to follow their engagement for a year and half and see their lives come together forever on their gorgeous winter wedding day! When Jenni first told me that they were having a winter wedding I about jumped out of my skin. I ADORE winter and snow. To find a bride that is just as excited about her wedding day being in the bitter cold is such a rare thing, so you can only imagine how excited I was!
I loved every detail they had on their wedding day and loved the little accents of pine cones and antlers! Such a fun accent to their engagement photos and Kipp’s love for hunting the fallen antlers. I remember during their engagement session Jenni mentioned that she wanted to incorporate them but she was a little hesitant. But I think she did a fabulous job of make them fit in perfectly!
How fitting it was that Kipp wore camo for his vest?! Love this little antler ring Jenni wore on her right hand. Per Jenni’s request we did this photo she had seen with couples at the beach. I am thankful for how well it turned out in the white-few-weeks-old-crunchy snow. 😉 Isn’t this all goregous?! Its a little hard to see but, if you look closely at the bottom tier you can see the elk! Wow! Their wedding party was just a hoot! They all were such great troupers for going out in the freezing cold for photos! Gorgeous flowers by Boulder Blooms.
I also adore the detailing Colorado Rose Cake Company did to incorporate an elk onto the icing for Kipp!
