I’ve been waiting for a long time to take these playful engagement photos! Mostly because I adore photographing Riana and couldn’t wait until she got engaged! Now she has such a great guy and I was so honored to be able to capture their engagement photos! I am sadly going to miss photographing their wedding due to my maternity leave. (One of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.) But I know they will be in good hands and it will be nice to sit back and support them with my presence and prayers instead of through my work. A bitter sweet thing but one that will still be so good.
Anyway! We headed out to Idaho Springs for their engagement photos and found some neat little views and a wonderful train to play on. Riana and Ben are so easy to photograph because they are just so silly and playful together. I loved photographing them!

Ok, so we found this train and had to do some “serious” photos because it was just so great. They could be models I think. They have the serious look down. 😉
So we were going to photograph more around Idaho Springs downtown area but it started poring wet rain/snow…but I briefly caught this silly one as my gear began to get drenched.
And my absolute fav for last. Everyone needs one serious photo that is just epic. Next entertainment weekly cover?!
Despite the sun never coming out it was such a blessed shoot and the Lord provided some beautiful locations for us!
