Driving up I-70 was a beautiful sight two Saturday’s ago. The mountains were finally picking up some snow and the shadows the Rockies create are gorgeous. As my husband and I arrived into the town of Breckenridge we hit LOTS of people. But it made since to be so busy because it was MLK weekend. My husband went off to explore the town while I meet up with Kate and Evan, a super sweet cute couple. We began photographing around the town but I do have to say it was a bit tricky with crowded streets. Thankfully they were both really laid back otherwise it may have been a super challenging shoot!
Once we finished in the town we jumped in Evan’s truck. I meet Kenai, Kate and Evan’s lab. He was such a well behaved puppy! Although he isn’t so little, haha. As we drove up I asked Kate and Evan what they did for a living and both of them told me they were engineers. I was extremely surprised. Not because they didn’t seem like intelligent people but because they were so out going! I don’t know about you, but I’ve only meet a handful of outgoing engineers, and I’ve meet a lot having a dad who’s work in the engineering field my whole life.
We drove up out of town and hit a snowy area with snow packed roads and rows and rows of beautiful aspen trees. I was in my zone there. I highly suggest doing different places for your engagement photos. It was especially fun to do engagement photos in the snow. So was having Kenai around who thought the reflected light my camera made on the snow was the best most exciting thing in the world haha.
It was a fun shoot. Now for the photos!
