Victoria and Gabe are such happy and easy going people. They are both pretty silly together and just seem to fit like a glove. They both grew up in Chilli, NM which you can tell once you meet them. Not because they have the typical “small town awkward” personality but because they are so friendly and “go with the flow” people.
Growing up in New Mexico you come to love the New Mexico Hispanic culture. (I have to say I cannot live without those homemade biscochitos. Those I really do miss from NM. So, if you ever wanna send me a gift and you know how to make them the good ‘ole way. Send me a box!!! But not too many, I’ll get fat. haha…) But back to what I was saying….From an outsiders perspective you just grow to love how laid back this culture is. There never is a lot of structure, but plenty of laughter. They know how to have a good time. And I’m pretty sure Victoria and Gabe did on their wedding day.
Gabe, his best man, and son all got to wear these awesome belts. This is them showing them off. 😉
Jon, was my second shooter for this wedding, caught some sweet moments. He is really gifted at capture interesting perspectives and close up shots of people’s expressions. These next two are his.
I almost made this next photo the preview last week. But decided I’d save it for this post. I nearly teared up. These father-daughter dances just get me!
🙂
