A few weeks ago my sister-in-law’s came up to visit my in-laws who just moved here. My sister-in-law was 35 weeks pregnant at the time, a perfect time to maternity photos taken! One morning we went out to this amazing field I recently found on a bike ride. I am a little sad my brother-in-law wasn’t there for these photos but our nephew, Jude was.
It is so amazing how big he is! I remember taking these photos like it was yesterday. At the same time, I feel like I’ve come a long way in my photography from even then.
I am amazed that even though Jude and I had some time bonding together it was still challenging to get him to do what we wanted him to do for certain photos. But I am thankful we got a few with him in them!
Andi is one of the most beautiful pregnant women I know! <3

Andi asked to take one photo of her and Jude acting mad. I love that her response was it will be easy for Jude to do because he always looks mad, haha. (I must note that he is a very happy boy, just has this face a lot, haha.)
I think the biggest advice I can give to anyone during a child/family shoot is to just play with your kids. Moments that you’ll want to cherish will naturally happen if you just relax and enjoy each other.
Jude liked the chair I brought. I love that you can see the imprint of his little toes on the bottom of his shoes.
I wish these guys lived here! I already miss them, and it has only been a week since they left. Cannot wait to meet baby number two!
