A few sundays ago I woke up feeling pretty dreary, and being the sweet man he is my husband asked if there was anything I wanted to do that might cheer me up. In my sad five-year-old mood I replied “Nothing you’d like to do.”
(I must preface here that while my husband and I are amazing compliments to each other we both have very different interests. He loves books, writing, literature and thinking. I love photography, adventures, and dancing. As you can imagine when we have days off together He’d rather read or write while I rather go exploring or climb rocks. haha)
BUT, despite my childish response my husband replied “What do you want to do?”
I told him I’d want to go outside on a hike or something in the mountains. To my complete surprise he said “Let’s go!”
I think my reply was “Really?!” You can image I perked up quickly. haha
So, we headed up to Morrison and to Mount Falcon where we hiked around a very lovely area. 🙂
I loved the patchy light that was illuminating just a few flowers.
