Andrew and Jessica were married at the Shupe Homestead located just in the foothills of Longmont, CO. The venue has a beautiful backdrop of the rocky mountains and has extremely well maintained grounds. When Andrew and Jessica mentioned their venue I was thinking rustic farm, but then I drove up the Homestead and saw it has truly stunning grounds. The homestead has access to the fields to get those tall grass photos but your guests don’t have to trench through any fields, just lovely grass.
Before each wedding I ask clients if they have any unique details that they want to make sure are captured. Jessica causally mentioned her brochure bouquet she made, pez candy dispensers and a pop corn machine. I was so excited to see how these few details made such an adorable fit to their wedding decor.
I love the bible holding the rings wrapped with lace ribbon.
I typically not a fan of purple but I actually liked this purple wedding. I think the magenta/purple flowers set it a part. (Excuse my lack of color knowledge, I am sure there is correct term for that color of purple. Give me a PMS color and I’d be set haha.)
The guys were best at being goofy. Loved their candid faces! I loved that they all had pockets! haha
I was SO thankful Andrew and Jessica were willing to go out twice to catch the right lighting. First the intense sunset light, and second the pink and dark blue hues. <3
More coming next week!
We’d love to work with you as your Colorado elopement photographer and guide!
