I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge city person but I do have to say that downtown Denver has some really neat parks, so I am thankful when Alyssa contacted me about photographing their family in downtown she suggested a park that had all the beautiful things about Colorado in it: warm sunshine, vibrant colors and the Platte river running through the heart of downtown.
Photographing the Alderman family was such a joy, they are all such easy going and their little one, Pierce is the happiest friendlies little one year old I know. I loved capturing their sweet fun and moments of their family of three.

A family of seven, you couldn’t ask for more love a fun! Such was the case photographing the Schulz family! They were all so willing to play and enjoy the fun games I had planned for their Denver Colorado lifestyle family photo session to welcome their new youngest brother into the world.
Rocky Mountain National Park isn’t the only breath taking spot close to Denver. What?! Yep I said that, their is a place were you feel like you’ve been transported to a magical land where waters run through and glaciers saturate the earth with lushish greenery.

Most people think you need to do photos some place particular but when you look back in your life, the moments you’ll want to remember are the common ones at home.

This is why I have a special place in my heart for home sessions.
Some days its like living in a dream that this really is my job, to capture life, to document the joys of relationships. And to top the cherry on top I get to photograph previous wedding couples in breath taking locations like this Colorado mountain family photography session taken near Breckenridge, Colorado.
I like to think that I can get on every little kids side, I think this is part of the fun for me as a family photographer. To draw out those little giggles and smiles in a child. Its not an easy task by any means but the moment they trust you is the moment they shine. Click to read more

Amusement parks? Who’s in? I used to LIVE at amusement parks during the summer. My mother was so sweet to take us along with our cousins so some of the most epic amusement parks around the country.
While I don’t think I could live up to providing that childhood for my daughter I love that in Colorado there exists these cute little amusement parks that are perfect for a four year old’s birthday party.
