I’ve been so honored to photography my best friend, Becca as life has progressed. The joys of knowing some one for over a decade and going through all stages of life with them even though we no longer live in the same city or state (Insert all the sad faces here) has been so beyond wonderful
Lasts October I left Denver, Colorado to visit Becca in Albuquerque, New Mexico for her first baby shower. I told her that I wanted to take maternity photos of her to bless her and her husband, to celebrate this period of growth – literally. haha.
We went to one of my favorite spots near the Sandia mountains. As no surprise but our bewilderment God provided some epic skies for us. It was such a joy to photograph her sweet belly growing with now Elliot her beautiful daughter.
Now, to head back to NM to take their family photos!!

I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge city person but I do have to say that downtown Denver has some really neat parks, so I am thankful when Alyssa contacted me about photographing their family in downtown she suggested a park that had all the beautiful things about Colorado in it: warm sunshine, vibrant colors and the Platte river running through the heart of downtown.
A family of seven, you couldn’t ask for more love a fun! Such was the case photographing the Schulz family! They were all so willing to play and enjoy the fun games I had planned for their Denver Colorado lifestyle family photo session to welcome their new youngest brother into the world.
Most people think you need to do photos some place particular but when you look back in your life, the moments you’ll want to remember are the common ones at home.
